Another Reason to Snack on Walnuts

Walnuts are in the news again with research at the New York State Institute for Basic Reseaerch in Developmental Disabilities with Alzheimers reporting that subjects (men) consuming walnuts had a significant improvement in learning skils and memory compared with men who did not. the subjects consumed about 1.5 ounces of walnuts. Rmenber though that adding 1.5 ounces of walnuts (14 halves) increasesyour daily calorie intake by about 278 calories. If you don’t adjust your calories you can wind up gaining weight.
