Roasted Walnuts

Written by RD, MS, LD, CDE, Monica Joyce: Here is a quick and easy snack or breakfast when time is limited. Toast walnuts at 300 degrees for two-three minutes. A friend of mine likes them for breakfast. I tried adding the walnuts to some Greek yogurt and cottage cheese to add a little protein. They are crunchy and microwaving at 2 minute brings out a bit of sweetness.
