Holiday Season

Written by RD, LD, MS, CDE Monica Joyce: With just a little over a week to go until the holiday eating comes to a screeching halt you still have time to do some damage control. Try increasing your exercise and activity to offset extra calories. Make sure you are getting close to 10,000 step daily. Try walking after dinner. So far this mild winter had meant more time outdoors. Split desserts and be aware of the how many alcoholic beverage you are consuming. The calories add up quickly. Weigh today and make a commitment to be that weight by January 1.
