Susan’s Weight Loss Journey: Part III
in The Too Busy to Diet Blog on February 2, 2016
Written by Monica Joyce MS, RD, LD, CDE: Susan is entering her third week of a diet and exercise program. Recapping last week she lost 1 lb despite a pulled muscle in her neck and very little activity. This week with an increase in activity and maintaining a calorie level of 1500 or less she was able to lose an additional 4 lbs. Her activity level reached and occasionally exceeded 10,000 steps. She stuck with the plan to no longer drink soda and to not eat after dinner. Snacks are maintained at 100 calories and I have encouraged her to eat what she wants in order to have a variety. All in all Susan is motivated and happy with her progress. The goal for this week is to continue with the 1550 calories and achieve 10,000 steps daily.
Stay tuned for next week’s progress report.
