A Reason for Raisins

Here’s a tip if you are making those annoying nightly trips to the bathroom. In the Health Section of the Chicago Tribune (Thursday, Nov 3) the People’s Pharmacy Column had a home remedy that just might be worth trying.
One of the readers wrote in about getting up for years to go to the bathroom. She tried the raisins approach that was recommended in this column and has experienced fewer trips to the bathroom. Though there are no studies supporting this it just might be worth a try. Just remember that raisins have calories: 1/4 cup 108 calories.
