Jump Start Weight Loss

A handful of employees at my new job have gotten a jump start on losing weight. Rather than wait around for the infamous January 1st start date, they embarked on their weight loss journey several months ago.
A total of five employees have lost a total of 67.6 pounds. So how did these ladies do it? They combined several strategies including setting realistic goals, increasing activity (wearing Fit Bits), counting calories (digitally tracking food and habits), weight loss medications and encouragement and coaching from me. By cultivating mindfulness they have made it through Halloween, Thanksgiving, office parties, you name it. These ladies are highly motivated to lose weight and develop new eating and activity habits that support a healthy lifestyle. I applaud their efforts and commitment to a healthy lifestyle as they bring in the New Year.
