Wondersalt: A salt that dreams of a world without hypertension.
What do you get when you combine sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and flavors derived from fruits and vegetables? You get Wondersalt: a reduced-sodium salt product for children that you can find in a variety of fun, bright colors.
The goal of the Israeli company, Salt of the Earth, is to show consumers that food can be delicious without high volumes of sodium. Who better to start with than kids? Adults may enjoy this product, too. By using colored salt, people can more easily tell how much salt they are adding to their food. Wondersalt gets it color by adding extract from apples, radishes, carrots, or lemons.
