- Butternut squash was found between Guatamala and Mexico and was believed to be one of the first foods cultivated in the Americas. It is a relative of the melon and cucumber.Butternut squash is considered a super food due to its Vitamin A, C, and E contents. It is also a good source of potassium, dietary fiber, manganese, B-vitamins, omega-3 fatty acids,and copper.
- With its high nutritional content, it helps to reduce cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.
