Cooking Fun Foods With Kids
How do you you get your child interested in cooking and eating healthy? One of the best ways is to cook something fun and a food they most commonly eat out of a bag. Nora is used to eating pretzels, but she has never made her own pretzels. By engaging your child in making a typical snack food that they are familiar with, you teach them how the food is made. You also give your child the experience of learning the steps involved in making a fun food. This translates into an appreciation for creating and sharing your food creation with others. Since Nora is alone for the first time this year with Mom, she has really missed her brother. But sharing a food creation for her brother’s after school snack is a fun way to experiment, share, and develop pride in a job well done. Good job Mom!
