It’s that time of the year, and who doesn’t love corn on cob?
I’ve been eating it regularly and can say that it’s been great. In fact, it’s one of my favorite summer vegetables.
Here’s a fun fact for you: Did you know that the kernels you eat off the cob are classified as vegetables, but they’re considered a grain if popped (LIVESTRONG.COM)?
Here’s the nutriton information for one ear of corn with butter:
Calories: 155
Total fat 3,4 g
Potassium 359 mg
Fiber 4 grams
Protein 4,5 g
Vitacim C 18%
Iron 28%
Enjoy! Summer won’t be here for long.
