Late Night Eating Compromises Breakfast Appetite
in The Too Busy to Diet Blog on July 18, 2013
Many breakfast skippers complain that they aren’t hungry in the morning and refuse to eat breakfast. Usually this is the result of eating a late dinner or consuming calories from snacking until bed time. Eating an earlier dinner or avoiding snacking after eating dinner will help you wake up hungrier in the morning. Some individuals say that they cannot eat an earlier dinner. A good idea is to pack a sandwich that can be used for a late night at work. Or have crackers and peanut butter in your desk drawer to provide a snack when you know you will not arrive home in time for an early dinner. Make sure that when you hit the door after working late that you do not enter the kitchen and start emptying out the refrigerator before you have a chance to plan out what you are going to eat. Remember that we tend to eat to keep awake. If you are tired from working late, have a small snack and go to bed.
