March is National Nutrition Month

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics(AND) celebrates National Nutrition Month each year in March. There are a number of ways that you can use information from the Academy to eat healthier and eat well.
These include:
1) Check AND’s website for current information on food and nutrition at www.eatright.org.
2) Go to AND’s website to find the name of a dietitian/nutritionist who can help you learn how to eat better to improve health and fight disease. Remember that most insurance companies cover the services of a registered dietitian/nutritionist for medically prescribed diets.
3) Subscribe to the Food and Nutrition Magazine to get current recipe ideas, nutrition information, and updates from the Academy. The Food and Nutrition Magazine is a must for any family interested in eating healthy and eating well. The food photography is top notch and the recipes are first class. No family should be without it.
