In fact for some, it is quite an accomplishment particularly if it is consistent. For years diets have promised  fast weight loss only to set people up for unrealistic expectations that wind up leaving a person frustrated.  Plugging away by sticking with positive food and activity  changes increase the  likelihood that weight loss is permanent.  And that’s the measure of success.
