The Mediiterranean diet has been known for years as a good bet for good health.

Many Scandinavians consume mackerel fillets with tomato sauce on bread for breakfast or smoked salmon sandwiches or salmon salads for lunch daily. In addition to healthy amounts of Omega 3 fatty acids, these foods also have healthy amounts of selenium and iodine.
