Here’s one more recipe for you, just in case we didn’t already give you enough for Super Bowl already!
Turkey, Cheese, and Broccoli Burgers
Serves 12
- 3 lbs extra lean ground turkey
- ¼ cup bread crumbs (whole wheat or regular)
- ¼ cup finely diced onion
- 2 egg whites, beaten
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
- 2 bags (10-oz) frozen broccoli, defrosted and chopped into small pieces
- 1.5 cups shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients together and form into 12 patties. Cook patties on a medium pan over medium heat for 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

We don’t have a new picture of Lucy for this week, so we’re using an oldie (but a goodie). We’re sure that she would love these turkey burgers.
Have a wonderful Super Bowl weekend!
