I work with Susan. She is the administrative person at our office. She is interested in losing 40 lbs. Like most people she has tried over and over to lose weight. And like most people she has lost but hasn’t kept it off. Susan took the first 2 weeks of January to think about her level of readiness and her goals. We also did a readiness questionnaire which determined that this is a good time to get started. Her goals are realistic and we decided to identify different lifestyle change she feels she can work on.

Susan weighed this morning 241lbs. She decided to count calories and is planning on staying at 1500 or less. She also has a pedometer and is going to gradually get up to 10,000 steps daily. She averages about 6,000 steps a day now. Susan likes regular soda and some days drinks as much as up to 2 liters per day. Tip for the week: Don’t Drink Your Calories!

She is planning on stopping all regular soda and is going to mix club soda with packer of Wyler’s Light lemonade.
