Winter Snack or Meal Ideas
in The Too Busy to Diet Blog on January 22, 2015
Written by Monica Joyce. Looking for some winter snack or meal ideas? I stumbled upon the Campbell’s soup website: CAMPBELLNUTRITION.COM When I think of Campbell’s soup I think of Chicken Noodle Soup. I grew up with often eating it for lunch with a sandwich on a cold winter day or after a bout of the flu.
I was pleased to see the many offerings from Campbell’s Recipe Collection and Nutriiton Tips including 40 varieties of Healthy Request Soups.
Soups can range anywhere from 60 to 110 calories. They are low in saturated fat and cholsterol and meet the American Heart Association nutriiton criteria. For now I’ve decided to trade in my afternoon snack of an apple for a mug of hot Minestrone or Chicken with Whole Grain pasta. In fact, I think I will try them all.
