Kids Eat Right, from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, posted this article on how a female athlete will often feel pressure to push herself physically and how it can lead to change in her diet. This can become an issue in a young woman’s health if not properly handled. As the post explains, it is important we offer encouraging and supportive environments for these girls.
